Belt Conveyor Exported to UAE for Cement Plant

Project Overview

A cement plant in the UAE needed a reliable conveying solution for the continuous movement of bulk materials within its production area. The conveyor was installed between different sections of the plant, where materials needed to be transferred steadily as part of the normal production process.

Since the conveying route was a permanent part of the plant layout, the customer preferred a fixed conveying system rather than relying on loaders or trucks for repeated short-distance transfers.

Application

The belt conveyor is mainly used to transport crushed limestone and other bulk cement-making materials between the material handling and processing sections.

The conveyor is installed above ground inside the plant and follows the existing equipment arrangement. Material enters the conveyor from the upstream section and is continuously transferred toward the next processing or storage point.

For this application, the conveyor is configured with an 800 mm belt width and a conveying capacity of approximately 200 TPH, providing a suitable match for the material flow at this section of the plant.

The relatively straightforward conveying route also leaves accessible areas around the equipment for inspection, cleaning and routine maintenance, which is important for equipment operating as part of a continuous production line.

Equipment Arrangement

Rather than operating as an isolated machine, the belt conveyor works as one part of the plant's material handling system. Its loading and discharge points are positioned according to the surrounding equipment, allowing the material to move from one stage to the next without unnecessary intermediate handling.

This arrangement is particularly practical for cement production, where large quantities of bulk materials need to be transferred continuously throughout the working day. A fixed conveyor can maintain a stable material flow while reducing the need for mobile equipment at permanent transfer points.

Customer Feedback

“We were mainly looking for a conveyor that could fit into the existing plant layout and keep the material moving steadily. The installation was straightforward, and the conveyor now handles this material transfer as part of our daily production. So far, it has been running smoothly and reliably, with no major issues during normal operation.”
