20m×3.2m Gantry Fiber Laser Cutter Delivered to South Korea

Project Overview

Recently,we have successfully delivered and commissioned a 20 m × 3.2 m ground-rail gantry fiber laser cutting machine at a customer site in South Korea. Equipped with a 20 kW MAX fiber laser, the machine cuts carbon steel up to 50 mm with positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm/m and repeat accuracy of ±0.03 mm. Its super-large working table enables full-plate cutting in one pass, improving material utilization and dimensional consistency. It has ramped up production quickly — a new milestone in our overseas large-format thick-plate cutting business.

Project Background

A metal‑fabrication manufacturer in South Korea focuses on flat steel plate processing. Constrained by limited working area and power of legacy equipment, the customer had to split over‑length steel plates for cutting, with limited capacity for thick carbon steel and unsatisfactory repeat positioning accuracy for heavy‑duty structural parts.

The client required a large‑format ground‑rail gantry laser cutting system to process full‑size steel plates in one pass, boost thick‑plate cutting performance and dimensional consistency, and minimize secondary processing.

● High‑precision performance: Positioning accuracy ±0.05 mm/m and repeat positioning accuracy ±0.03 mm. Precision remains stable over long travel, securing consistent dimensional output for mass‑production parts and reducing the reject rate.

● Complete overseas delivery solution: Custom electrical adaptation, pre‑factory commissioning, on‑site installation guidance, operator training and remote technical support are provided to achieve fast on‑site production ramp‑up.
