Difference Between Dry Mix and Wet Mix Concrete

Working Principle of Concrete Mixer Truck

The core working principle of the concrete mixer truck is to drive the mixing tank to rotate through the hydraulic system, and use the double spiral blades in the tank to realize the mixing and anti-setting of concrete. When the vehicle is driving or operating, the mixing tank rotates forward at a speed of 0-16 rpm. The double spiral blades continuously lift and tumble the concrete in the tank to ensure that cement, sand, gravel, water and other raw materials are fully mixed to achieve a uniform concrete texture; when discharging is needed, the mixing tank rotates in reverse, and the blades push the concrete in the opposite direction to make it smoothly discharge from the tank outlet.
